The Brockway Volunteer Hose Company and the Jefferson County Department of Emergency Services would like to provide the following information regarding the Visitation and Funeral Services for Brockway Fire Chief Jeffrey William Fustine. Chief Fustine passed away on Friday, August 26, 2016 at his residence surrounded by family and friends.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home located at 1033 4th Avenue in Brockway from 1pm to 8pm. Visiting Emergency Service organizations wishing to pay their respects too Chief Fustine and his family are asked to visit between the hours of 4pm and 8pm. Departments bringing apparatus to the visitation is asked to park at the Brockway Area High School, 40 North Street in Brockway and walk to the funeral home as parking will be very limited. A shuttle will be provided for those that cannot walk that far
Funeral Services will take place on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at the Saint Tobias Roman Catholic Church, 1135 Hewitt Street, Brockway at 12pm. Visiting Emergency Service agencies attending the funeral services are asked to report to Saint Tobias for staging of apparatus between 9am and 11am. Visiting agencies will be able to attend the funeral services and join in after the service for a procession through town honoring Chief Fustine.
Following the service, a procession of emergency vehicles will proceed down Main Street to Route 219; Turning on Record Street and onto Broad. From Broad Street, units will proceed down to 3rd Avenue, back onto Main Street where a final call for Chief Fustine will take place near the Fire Station.
