Text Alerts Administrator Training Class

Training sessions for Text Alert System administrators will be held on October 1st at the Clearfield County 911 Center. Each Fire Company and EMS Station should plan to assign and send ONE representative that will serve as your administrator for the new text alert system. PLEASE only send one person to this training due to the number of people who will need to be trained.

Railroad Crossing Work to Start Aug. 22 in Penfield

Work to repair a railroad crossing on Route 153 (Hooverstown Road) in Huston Township is scheduled for Aug. 22 through Aug. 26. Penndot has announced that Route 153 will be closed from Penfield to Parker Dam State Park. Crews from the Buffalo & Pittsburgh Railroad will be working to replace the highway railroad crossing in the village of Penfield. A detour will be in effect for five days while the ... Fish and Boat Commission Offers Boating Program

The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission is offering a eight-hour Basic Boating Course for area residents on September 27, 2014 at the McKean County EMA/911 center. The eight-hour Basic Boating Course gives participants a chance to learn basic boating and safety information in a shorter program than offered traditionally.
